Well my first thought no it isn't depression which someone did say was the cause...and still could be I'm not a doctor but I really don't think that taking pills is going to make you any better...more like a drone...unless thats what your after...but who is so I would advise against it, just me.
Your tired of your same old routine...do you have someone to share your life with a mate that is? That could also be the problem...that could be all it really is. Spice things up a bit go do something for yourself...and I have to tell you a secret...everyone has and still does get like that in their lives at one point or another. Whether they want to admit to it or not it's happened. I know I get like that when I have a severe lack of motivation maybe thats what you need a pep up.
Ask yourself a few questions:
Well do you like your job? If the answer is no then maybe just maybe it's time for a career change but don't go straight into that mode just yet read on.
What is it about my job that I enjoy...what made you go to that feild in the first place, that desire or interest to...do what your doing today?
The satisfaction part, well are you one of those people who would feel more enjoyment out of single handedly doing something to help another person and getting satisfaction that way or would you rather be a bigger peice to the puzzle?
Am I unhappy because I don't have a mate, someone to share my life with to come home to and share stories about work with?
Ya know all that 'fun' stuff. If not don't say you can't find someone...there is someone out there for everyone just need to find them...the hard part.
What do you do in your free time...if you have any (free time that is) could it be that your job doesn't allow you enough 'you' time?
Everyone needs a vacation whether you stay at home for a week, re coupe and do what you want to do or get out of the state and go somewhere you haven't been before...yea gas sucks but there are plenty of other ways to get out and have an adventure little or no cost. Take a digital camera hell a throw away and go on a field trip.
All you need to do is just find that fire that ambition that got you where you are today and if you didn't have it in the first place it's most definately time for a change. Thats just my advice.

Cus it isn't normal for a person to do a job for an extend amount of time without results. Money aside, is there anything that excites your passions? Because work should be loved, it gives meaning, and when you loose your meaning then your love is sure to follow.
And love being the base for everything then without it comming from
either a person or your work then you start to get disatasfied. An no one would blam you.
In life well, you could say that it is good to not be satisfied. Because life needs the hurdles to keep you in line with the race.
Brighten it up. Get out of your shell, and destroy your everyday routine.

Sounds like you are depressed. You should see a doctor and a psychotherapist.

If you are bored it is because you are boring and if you are unhappy it is because you are not doing anything to make other people happy
Go volunteer and help other people who are way worse of than you and you'll see how quickly your life is no longer boring and how happy you will be knowing you brought a smile to someone who can give you nothing but that smile in return

This is a pretty deep and serious question. May I suggest : try reading (and listening to audio, video, internet or if available in person)
Jiddu Krishnamurti
Eckhart Tolle
Andrew Cohen
Stuart Wilde
UG Krishnamurti
You may listen to or read one or many of the above. Even though they all point to the same thing, their styles vary widely. Therefore it could be good to try many of them to see who would appeal to you best. If you are really serious and earnest about your question, you are very very likely to find a meaningful and practical answer. Best wishes

I'm going to suggest to you that if God isn't in your life then .... u need to get closer to Him. At times I feel this way, but then I think about the fact that I was depressed at one time, but Jesus got me through those the bad times and without him I am nothing.Find a Bible or a Testament and read it...and find the man that created you.
