The Brazil/ France match. Lots of drama and the best team in the Cup losing.

Even though I am a big Italian supporter. I am also a supporter of good soccer and the game between Germany and Italy today was the best game so far. Both teams were well balanced they both had some great scoring chances and the keepers lived up to the highest of expectations. There were a few calls by the referee that not everyone agreed with but they were not deciding factors of the game all in all the refereeing was good.

GREAT GAMES
Germany - Costa Rica (4-2) : opening game with six goals, and some beautiful ones at that.
The Netherlands - Cote d'Ivoir (2-1) : Holland only just surviving the African storm.
Australia - Croatia (2-2) : very tense game for qualification with the referee providing a laugh or two.
Argentina - Mexico (2-1) : Mexico giving the Argentines a major scare.
Germany - Argentina (1-1) : The tournament's second best team sending the tournament's best team home.
WORST GAME
Italy - Australia (1-0) : blame the referee for keeping the most irritating team alive.

it' s an interesting question because i find there are quite a few ways to get excited during a game. sometimes your team is trailing and you feel growing desperation as the clock keeps ticking, whereas if your team is leading by a goal, then it becomes nerve-wrecking hoping the game ends as soon as possible becauce you don't know for how long they'll be able to hold on. sometimes games are exciting for all the wrong reasons!! but itly-germany will go down as a classic because of the high level of play, the tension and the drama. the great thing about it was that whomever one is rooting for, it was a fair result since it came about without any controversy or penelty-kicks. have a good day everyone

I thought that the Portugal-Netherlands game was the most interesting, if not most exciting game of the tournament so far. For the last twenty minutes or so, both teams were furiously trying to score, Holland for an equaliser and Portugal for a second goal to put the match out of reach. There were many close chances, and cards were flying out of the ref's pocket about every five minutes.

Of all the World Cup games I've seen so far, I think that the best game was [Portugal vs. England]. It had so much Drama, and it was the longest game in the World Cup 06. They were tied up until the Penalty kicks in the end. C. Ronaldo Made The last Shot For Portugal.

Definitely Brazil vs. France, France dominated Brazil that game and that assist by Zidane and Henry's goal was magnificent, Henry had perfect timing after being called offsides like four times. The only thing I can say bad about that game is Brazil just wasn't Brazil that game. And once again France knocked Brazil out of the World Cup.

Germany vs Poland and Germany vs Italy were by far the best games in the world cup so far. Even though I am a big fan or Argentina I do not think that they played well against Germany. Too many tactical errors in that game by Argentina.
