My teenage sons new Cingular seems to cost alot more to keep going than the Virgin Mobile he had previously. I am constantly putting more money on his phone. It does not appear that he uses it any more frequently than the Virgin Mobile phone.

It's pretty expensive. I don't use my GoPhone much and I'm always buying airtime. I would suggest Cricket if they have it in your area. I had Cricket in AZ, and the service is great, and inexpensive too. Right now Cricket is having a special where you get your first months and activations for free. They also have plans that start at $30 a month, and one that's only $45 for unlimited EVERYTHING. I mean, he could be on the phone 24 hours a day making and recieving local and long distabce calls, sending text messages, etc, and you don't gotta worry that he'll go over his minutes, night & weekend rates, or anything. It's great.

Anyway, if you stick with Cingular, you might save money if you go with the GoPhone Pick Your Plan, because at least he'll get free nights & weekends.
