First get rid of the Useless anti-virus program you have .
Then you need to install and run the following programs.
All are recommended by the University of Harvard computer science division.
The best Anti-virus is: AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. (www.grisoft.com)
The Best Spyware defense is: SpyBot Search and Destroy (www.spybot.info)
AND: AdAware SE (www.lavasoft.com)
AND Spyware Blaster (www.spywareblaster.com)
The best Firewall besides the one that comes with Windows is: Zone Alarm (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/co... or just (www.zonelabs.com) and select the FREE version.
These are all FREE and are all that are required. There is no reason to pay for this kind of software, except to give a donation to the writers if you can.
ALL the above programs are recommended and should be run on a regular basis. With some the free versions they must be run manually.
The best way to avoid getting any Malware (virus, Trojan's, spyware, etc) is to practice safe computing. Microsoft and many others have countless articles on the subject of safe computing. (something I think should be taught in schools)

Use the Windows Live Safety Scanner to remove all the viruses from your system. It's an online scan and virus and spyware removal tool that scans your system for prevalent malware and also removes them. Please be patient during the scan and don't turn off the system. The scan will initially download a few components which are used to remove the found malware. The link for the scanner is given below. I would also recommend you to use a "full service scan" on the page that you will be led to when you click on the link.

What I've had to do when nothing else seems to work to get rid of spyware is to reinstall my hardrive with everything in it. It is a painful task but sometimes it appears as the only option. It's easier if you have a system that has all the programs in your drive already preinstalled so you can reformat your drive and reinstall all the factory installed programs. You really need to watch out though when you are backing up your files that you don't copy the virus as well. Good luck!

If you are able to get on the internet, go to the miscrosoft site and type the virus names in to see if anything comes up. Also do a search on your computer for the files, if they show up, delete them. Also, type "msconfig" in your "run" bar in the start menu, then go to the active task and look for it there.
