Barefoot bowling sounds cool. I wanna attempt it. Barefoot sounds a lot extra helpful than wearing yucky bowling footwear. The bowling alley team do no longer spray disinfectant fungus killer into the rented footwear for no reason -- YUCK. i would be certain how being barefoot might develop your game. i think of it would help me. i'm no longer a foot slider when I bowl, i want me ft planted firmly at each step. So, barefoot may be effective with that. I easily have not been bowling for some years, yet when I used to bowl, I had slightly secret for combating my ft and footwear from sliding -- i might take a moist towel with me and hose down the bottoms of my bowling footwear till now very virtually each physique. That allowed me the administration of my step that i wished. i exploit a 4-step attitude. If the bowling alley managment knew I had damp footwear they might throw me out, so barefoot may be appropriate! I say choose for it. there is no longer something incorrect with bare ft everywhere. And in case you drop a bowling ball on your foot, you're actually not being careful--yet no bowling shoe is gonna look after your foot from a dropped ball besides. Barefoot bowling -- i ask your self why I easily have on no account tried that!! DOH!

Yes I would consider it because I am a barefooter and almost never wear shoes anywhere.

But it's probably not a good idea.

no bowling shoes are made so they won't stick to the floor. your feet will stick and it will mess up your throw. plus it adds protection when a stupid person drops the ball on your foot

Hell no. I don't want no funky fungus, and I'd like some protection between my foot and the ball should my clumsy butt drop the ball. I prefer having unbroken toes.

I have considered it often...I find myself thinking about it in much of my spare time...honestly, it has come to occupy my thoughts way too often.
