I did it only once with a borrowed 3x3 cube, and I think it took me 2 or 3 days to solve it. I think that was the first time I played with a Rubik's cube with the intent of solving it.

Aw c`mon,have some fun.I gave a friend a Rubik`s cube once,
I peeled two of the colored squares off and switched them,
mixed it up and gave it to him.
Also wanted to get one and paint all the squares the same
colour,for under-achievers!!!!

so many people can solve it below 30 secs..
i've downloaded a clip that shows a guy solve the cube in just 11 secs in a competition..that's unbelievable..but true..
i've also downloaded a clip that shows a 6 year old kid solve it in 29 secs.. *sigh*
do u know gaetan guimond?he can solve it in his back without looking within 30 secs..but of course he studied the scrambled cube first before he had a go..but still it's very very difficult..
there's also a clip that shows a guy who solved the cube with just one hand within 30 secs..
u know..these guys can be an inspirational to us rookies..u should search for them in the internet and download a clip or two..they are enjoyable to watch..

Doing the Cube always made me dizzy....REALLY I got nauseated...sorry I am not thinking with that side of my brain. I am a Writer....I think with the other side....and BTW 1:26 is awesome...let me ask you this....can YOU read 8 books per day?
I read that at nearly 12 years old. Here I am today on Y!A....it beats chat....can you teach me how? I am a quickkkkkkkkkk studyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

You cheat by pulling the stickers off and putting them back on. I had one when they first came out - I threw the damned thing in a river. Most frustrating thing ever made. I did see a young guy solve one in under 30 secs on t.v. - and they had someone else "mix" it up with his back turned so he wouldn't have a head start.
