I think people are selfish and should care more about homeless animals. I want to start a sanctuary for abused and homeless animals!

Sweety,Alot of people do care about whats going on with homeless pets...But the way everything is going now a days,people already have to much on their plates and just can help needy animals...I support a dog that was almost beating to death my his owner...I think he was only 3 months when this happen...Is owner stop the car in town and ragged the poor pup to the side walk and just started hitting him and kicking until the pup was almost dead...Why this so call pet owner did this,is because the pup got car sick and threw-up in the car...So.hes the baby i support and proud to do it...Just remember,people do care but can't support anymore mouths and so forth...I think it is GREAT that you want to start a sanctuary for abused and homeless animals...But where are you going to get support and help to run this??? It's going to take alot of cash and free helpers to ran this...If you can pull this off GOD BLESS YOU...

I work at an Animal Shelter...We try to find them homes when this fails they are humamley Euthanized..It Costs alot of money to Vet and feed all of those animals..It would be a great help if people would quit knocking Kill Shelters and get their animals fixed ...Start a Sanctuary, Go for it, You will be full in a week.Education is the Key as someone else posted on here we have people doing without and as much as I love animals I would Euthanize my own to save one Humans life

I think that's a great idea, and very noble. However, to condemn everyone for not doing 'something' is a little vague. We can't expect everyone to pick up a cat that's been hit by a cat. We can't expect everyone to bring an unneutered homeless male in to be fixed.
So instead, we need to do the best that we can to make up for the people who see animals as a lower priority.

I think it is a great idea to want to help homeless animals. You could start by going to the nearest shelter and volunteeringThey always need help. You can ask them what you can do. Starting a shelter or sanctuary, cost a lot of money. Start small, learn what you need too do. Get info from others who have done it You might want to go to school to be a vet. Many people are working to help abused animals. Good luck,

If most people don't care, you have the right to move on your own and help animals.
