msn chat rooms used to be free but now you have to pay for them. if you want to chat with others try yahoo chat rooms or www.chatcity.com thats free as well. its free to use messenger but you have to have friends with messenger that you can chat with.

No charge all you need is speakers, microphone and someone with MSN. You are not charged it is free. I talk to friend all over the country. You do need to have there email@hotmail.com in order to do it.
