Run away because of a DWI? What a waste of time. Not a major crime! If you want to move the probation office might let you so check first.

Even minors have to play by the rules. Running will only make matters worse. The charges will not be dropped just because you hid out until you turned 21 The chances of even being able to hide that long are slim to none. The chances of the charges being dropped at all are slim. In most cases the charge for violating probation is worse than the charge for the "crime" its self. Reason being probation is considered a second chance. She's only being charged with a class 1 misdemeanor? She's darn lucky. You need to do yourselves both a favor and leave her alone. I know you cant bear to not talk to her but it's only going to cause more trouble. Now that she's being charged with this is she going to have to register as a sex offender?

You do that and a bench warrant will be issued for your arrest. Once the warrant is executed, you will be in jail for violating your terms of probation, of that which will be revoked. Is that what you want? You better think long and hard before doing something you'll regret. You're making your life even worse doing something like that. Be a man and don't do that.

Your question makes me think you are a juvenile. So, 'running away' will not be a big deal until you are caught. If the P O and/or your parent/guardian gets the judge to issue a warrant, when you pop up you will be put in some sort of detention facility pending your court date. Then the judge will do what she/he thinks is in "your best interest." That depends on many factors..too many to go into here. Unless you are running from abuse, you should return to your home. Good luck.

You will violate your probation agreement and go to prison for the rest of your sentence. You may also be charged with absconding and get extra years.

5 years where I am at. Your prison time will also be harder because you are an escape risk.
