My brother used to borrow my parents lawn mower and he would mow a few lawns a week for like $10 or $15 each. Even if he only did like 5 or 6, it doesnt really put too much wear and tear on the parent's lawnmower and that was a decent amount of money. This was 15 years ago so you could charge $20-$30 now for a decent size yard now. What about babysitting or a dog walker? Those are things that I did.

If you can get there, resorts and camps are looking for people. When she was in college, my daughter got a job in a summer camp on an island off the coast of Washington State. We are from Texas. She had a good time and got to be around water, since there isn't any here. Being a server in a resort will get you tips that are bigger than normal. Amusement parks are also looking for summer help.
