Lets face it. Based on what we see in the newspaper, famous women and not-so-famous woman are getting pregnant over the age of 40. It is something that may be accomplished the good old fashioned way with a man and a woman, but I think that it happens more often than not with a harvesting of eggs and a meeting arranged in a petrie dish. You need to find an OB that is a specialist in infertility issues as well as high-risk pregnancies. I was almost 40 when I had my son and based on my experience with some blood pressure issues and stuff that doesn't happen then you're 30, I was very happy to have such specialized care. Try a women's OB/GYN office as opposed to a mixed care clinic.

The fact that you are still menstruating means that you are still theoretically able to concieve. But the low progesterone levels you had a year ago may mean that there's something you could be doing to enhance your chances at conception and a successful pregnancy. Talk to your doctor and get a thorough examination to rule out anything that could be dealt with, either for yourself or your partner. Your doctor may also prescribe something like Clomed that could also increase your ability to conceive.
Another thing that you might want to consider, once you get an all-clear from your doctor, is to go to an acupuncturist. Acupuncturists will be able to treat you holistically, for example, help you lower stress or get you into optimal health.

If you are fertile, then you can. If not, then you can't. There is no way to be sure (unless you have already entered menopause) except to try. Fertility declines with age, but many women have had babies well into their 40s.
I hope you mean your *period* is 2 days...not your *cycle*. I'm not sure what that would mean, and it almost certainly would mean you aren't fertile!! But the length of your period *or* your cycle (assuming it's anywhere near normal!!) doesn't say much about whether you are fertile or not.
To help determine if you are fertile, please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will give you information to know if and when you are ovulating, and other factors related to fertility.

I'm 23 and my cycle only lasts for about 3 days also, but I don't know if that has anything to do with ability to conceive. I think that as long as you haven't gone through menopouse then you should still be able to have a baby! Talk to your doctor about details!

Ask your doctor about that. If you are ovulating, you should still be able to conceive. You may want to use one of the ovulation tests to determine when you are ovulating. Before you get pregnant, think about the high risk of birth defects at your age. It will also be harder on your body. My doctor advised me to have my next baby by the time I turn 40, which will be in 6 months.

If you were to conceive now you would have so many issues becaue u would be considered high risk because of your age. Im not saying it isn't possible but u risk so many complications. I would consider adoption. There are a lot of beautiful children in need of homes for vaious reasons. You can adopt as young as 1 Day old babies. and as old as 16 year old children. Consider that first, then try to conceive.

it almost sounds like you may be starting into menopause now. My mom went through this at an older age, but my mother-in-law is your age and is going through it now.
While you should still be able to conceive it gets harder the longer you wait, past 35 you also have the added elevated risk of birth defects to think about as well.
Good luck to you.

The best reply would be with your OB. But in a rush the answer is yes it is possible. Again more tests and investigations by your OB are needed to give a better answer.

If you haven't gone through menopause yet, it will be more difficult, but you can still conceive. Talk to your Doctor for advice on things you can do to improve your chances. Good luck. I hope it works for you.
