No. Any body can wear a thong. The question is..should everybody wear one? There are some people who will tell you it's not a problem and then there's people who will tend to think 12 is not an age for thongs. Ask your closest older female relative, Mom maybe, and go from there. Remember, that some vaginal irritations and infections, that are common to females, tend to happen because of constrictive clothing such as thongs. Hygiene is very important.

I don't think 12 is too young to wear a thong... as long as you're not showing anyone else. why not?

It depends on why you're wearing it. If you're wearing it because you want to look hot for someone else, then yeah, 12 is too young. You have plenty of time for all that crap and it's more fun when you're older anyhow. If it's just for comfort's sake though go for it.

Yes Darling. You may be sending the wrong signal to ignorant older boys. Enjoy your years and your innocent, do things for your age level. Times go by fast, soon you can make that choice, more likely past 16 years of age.

i'm 14 and i've wore thongs but it didn't last. they are very uncomfortable and it feels like you have an eternal wedgie!so no if i were you i wouldnt wear them. who cares about about pantylines any ways and if someone can see your panty line they are looking to hard.
