I live in Raleigh NC and i have a 14year old friend who's willing to do some work.

In most states a child can work at the age of 12 with parental consent, and at the age of 14 without consent. You might want to check night work labor laws for children though, as those can vary widely state to state.

i don't know were that is..but in the US..yes a 14 can work with a permit but only up to like 6 hours a day or less

You need to have your friend get a packet that lists jobs for teens under 16 years old, then you have to get a work permit.

Not in many places. I would suggest babysitting, pet sitting, mowing peoples lawns, and other jobs that don't require a work permit or that they can be paid in cash.

no.. you have to be 16 years old in most places. i do know that when i was a kid... i used to cut the neighbors lawns and stuff.. depending on the size.. highest was twenty.
