It was on Cartoon network in the late 90's and up until 2001. Then it got cancled because Dic gave up the rights to continue it. There fore no body else picked up the rights to continue dubbing it, and the only way to see the Sailor Stars is by Fan sub or buy the whole set in Japanese w/out subtitles. The Japanese version because I own all 5 seasons is more adult than the American dubbed version which was edited for younger veiwers is far better. There is a rumour going around that possibly it will be put back on for Adult Swim but don't believe it until you see it for truth.

Originally, it came on fox's saturday morning cartoons, but it only aired the first two story archs dealing with the nega moon and the doom tree. These were later picked up by UPN and played on weekday mornings along with DragonballZ.

Cartoon Network picked up the rest of the series and played everything up through the fourth season. The fifth season has yet to be released, but is available for viewing here:

In Japan there was also a live-action series that never aired here:

Hope that answered your question.

it was a few years ago, and it wasnt very popular. i liked it but it was made to kid-oriented, whereas the manga was a bit more adult.
i dont think it will ever air in the way the original makers intended it to.
