i dont usually watch this show. as a matter of fact the last time i watched it was when mary got busted for breaking into that school and spray painting it...LONG time ago! LOL! let me know please.

Long story short:
Matt got married and moved to New York with his wife to go to medical school. They are now graduated and having twins, according to the finale.
Mary (Jessica Biel) was booted off the show several years ago after she posed for Maxim magazine or something. Ever since then, she has been in the story line, but you never see or hear her. She became a flight attendant, got married, had a baby, ran out on her husband and baby, and in the series finale she came back and was pregnant with twins by her husband (if I remember correctly). The only time I've seen her in a few years was on the series finale.
Although it may NOT be the finale. I heard that it got picked up by the new network after all.
Edited to add: Small Lady, you're right and wrong. Barry did have hodgkin's, which is why he left the show for a *while* to get better. Jessica Biel wanted to do movies and such, but couldn't get any parts because of her goody-goody image on 7th Heaven. She posed for Maxim (or whatever) to prove that she could be 'grown up' and also to tick off Aaron Spelling, who wouldn't let her out of her contract. After the pictures showed up, she was asked to leave the show. So technically speaking, she was booted for the pictures, even if she did want to leave. I've read this over the years on TVguide and People magazine.

I agree with Jill, also, the show didn't end. It's coming back. The very last scene was crazy! I missed a lot of episodes over the years when I moved and there wasn't a local station. But the girl who was pregnant, she came back and said that she and Simon needed to talk about the father of her baby, insinuating that Simon might be the father.

Ignore them, The truth is that Barry Watson ended up with Hodgekins disease and could not continue the show but stayed on the side lines to help write and make guest appearances.
Jessica Biel ended her contract but decided to make a guest appearance here and there. She wanted to start focusing more on a Movie Career and Barry Watson felt the same way.

Mary went on to do playboy, which was not a part of the family values of 7th heaven. I think she got married to a fireman as her leaving.

Sweetheart, the show has been off the air about two months ago after ten years. Go to your local Wal-Mart, Best Buy or maybe Target to find the season DVD's.
