is this friend a dic? its the eve of the fourth of july.my close friend calls me and blows me off for the 4th!

and he know"s that at this time i have no-one else.so i now will be all alone on the fourth.we were to hang out all day together at the beach and bbq later just the two of us.i would never do this to a close friend.am i wrong? and yes he considers me a close friend too. we hang out together all the time.we've even gone on long trips before.

Maybe he has a good reason. Try talking to him. (A good reason could be: His (father/mother/brother/sister/someone else he is close to) is sick, or anything else that he had to do.)
