Everytime I see this question, the statement is posed wrong and so the answers are wrong. The way its suppose to read is: "There is a point where you can look out over the Pacific Ocean and see the sunrise". Which makes more sense that the questions asked before. On the Pacific side of the Panama Canal that has a peninsula that juts out into the bay and curves around towards the Canal exit. So it you went over there, technically that's the pacific ocean and you are looking out over it. But you are facing East.. So you can see the confusion. It's all in how you pose the question or statement.
