Gay and christian, why not, learn what the bible is about not what some have interpreted for us to read, the bible is a guide not fact, must we chop off our hands if we did something indecent, no.... the bible has gone through many unfortunate rewrites, the people who have done so added or changed things based on their own beliefs. understand that and you will understand why there are so many good and so little bad in the bible.

A complete contradiction in terms there, yes. You cannot be a true servant of God and yet be a partidipant in a practice that he hates. He hates homosexuality. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for that very reason, so that right there should give you a hint how he feels about it.

I hope that you can find some peace and the strength to leave y our way of life behind you . God gives strength beyond that which is normal and can help people change. Remember the Paul in the Bible? He used to stone Jesus's disciples and kill them! But then he saw the truth for what it was and became a follower of Christ's and a believer in God's word . Now we read his letters to the Christian congregations in the Bible and they are so full of love and commendations and advice that apply to us today , was well... what a turnaroun! There is hope for you,if you honestly and open heartedly pray for help and guidance. Be open hearted when that help comes knocking on your door....

You aren't a contradiction in itself. All people are sinners, we all have struggles and weaknesses. God has stated that homosexuality is wrong but you can seek His help. He does not condemn you for "homosexuality" in itself but for being a sinner where spiritual death is the end. He wants you to find Him and seek a true relationship with Him. All the other stuff He will give you wisdom and show you the truth.

Good question.
Yes. A Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ as savior but also as Lord.
The Bible in the NEW TESTAMENT (1 Cor.; Romans 1-3) includes homosexuality in a long list of things that are sinful actions.
A Christian may struggle with a sin but their desire is to honor God. That being said, if someone willfully sins (inc. homosexual acts, etc) that shows that they may not be a saved person (read 1 John).
Lastly, we all struggle in many ways. We all sin. The Christian, although they still sin, has a desire to gain victory over it & wants to honor God with their lives, body, mind, emotions, etc.

Hope this helps.

Being a Christian will already make you a walking contradiction.

No. It just means you are a sinner. Whether or not you choose to live in your sin is your choice. God loves you anyway, but being gay is not the plan He would have for your life. If you truly want to break away from this sin, check out www.loveinaction.org. There is a guy named David Jones who is phenomonal in this ministry. David is in Memphis, Tennessee. Good luck and God bless!!

No, you are just disobedient. Everyone sins. It is when you continue to sin, that you become lost. God loves the sinner. He just hates the sin. If you repent you'll enter his good graces again. The definition of repent is to turn away from sin and to turn towards God. You have to do both. God did not intend for humans to be gay, if he did, we would all have the same body parts.

You can't be a gay & a Christian. That's just not possible. God hates the sin. Just read in Genesis about what He did to Sodom!

No, you're not. You can be homosexual and still a Christian. God loves all of his children, and I don't see anything in the ten commandments stating "thou shalt not be gay". You can't control who you have feelings for, so don't try to. You can love people of the same sex AND God, and don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise.
