This will be my first handheld, so I would like it to be easy to use. I have a PC and a Motorola cell phone. I am not a gamer.

For a new one, get a Z22. It'll do the basic organiing and palm OS apps. If you do need an mp3 plaer, look for a used Tungsten E1 (Available also at Palm's online outlet in used condition).
If you need a used one, a palm ///C, Clie SJ30, SJ22, and Palm m130 are good OS 4 choices. If you want a camera, look for a used Z72. The Z72, 22, and E1 all have OS5. All others have OS4.
OS5 runs more apps, so I'd look for an OS5 palm.

Palm T/X is the best non-phone Palm out there. Among other things, you can download and playback movies and TV shows using the free TCPMP player software.

Palm m130 is a good start. That was my introduction to the Palm and I have been using it since. I currently own a Palm Tx. The screen is absolutely brilliant!

I have a Tungsten E2 and it works great for me. Just get a SD card for memory and you have a MP3 player built in to it.
By the way, this is my first pda and I love it.

HP iPAQ HX2795...Your motorola phone if it has bluetooth will be able to connect you to the internet through it also....

HP 4700 works for me. I think it is discontinued, but it is as fast as any of them and it has a great screen.
