The available technology may or may not be present but the answer to your question is simple: They don't have the power to stop it.
The masses do not have economic control and subsequently they do not have social control. Those few that profit from that which causes global warming have decided to profit instead of preserving life. Until the people unite or until we completely self-destruct, this will continue.

No, you have misstated the case. We do understand that recorded temperatures point out that interior the final century, the common international temperature has curiously long gone up 1º or so, maximum of that no longer in the previous 50 years. We additionally understand that for tens of millions of years, the Earth has been dealing with warming and cooling cycles. Greenland replaced into green, as quickly as, then it have been given less warm. Ohio replaced into as quickly as coated in glaciers, then it have been given warmer. All with no unmarried molecule of emission from an SUV. We additionally keep in mind that 30 years in the past those comparable esteemed climatologists telling us we've been stepping right into a sparkling Ice Age. there is likewise little or no helping info that any yet a small fraction of the present variety is often via human interest. there is no precise prediction of the destiny. Will the temperature keep escalating? Will it heat a sprint greater, then start up a cooling (greater in all threat)? particular, the rooster little scare eventualities enable scientists to get huge $$ in supplies, yet their climate fashions are some distance from precise. there is no info that international warming could be a foul element. For all all of us know it can be a boon. Can anybody say what the international temperature is meant to be? the place we are at good now? warmer? Cooler? considering's continually shifting, there is rarely been a nominal temperature. think of roughly it. So, basically via fact we are no longer working around panicking would not propose we don't comprehend what's occurring. this is basically that we tend to subject 'sky-is-falling' theories to the attempt of excellent judgment, info and reasonableness.

We don't have all the technologies you mentioned.
Where does the hydrogen come from?
It is still expensive to make (In an energy sense as well as a financial on)
Electric cars need to be charged with electricity from somewhere, where does it come from?
Probably burning coal - bad for the planet.
Or maybe from wind or hydro electric plants if you are lucky.
Or maybe nuclear-electric plants.
There are a lot of things we could and should be doing to save the planet though.
Unfortunately we don't get the gains for our sacrifices in energy use.
Look up 'The Tragedy of the Commons' it is an interesting analogy to the planets current energy situation.

there are technology available to "control" global warming at this point in time. however, these technologies are not yet advance enough to sustain all the energy required by the world population.
note that people have lived with using fossil fuel for a long time already and changing people's habits are not easy even if it means saving the world. only by using alternative fuel collectively would we be able to stop global warming. would say, china or india use more expensive OR less efficient energy sources to power its booming economy?
it would take time to convert fossil fuel consumption to alternative fuel usage. it's not impossible, it just takes a few more years.

(1) Available technology to be used throughout the globe costs heavily. For every corner of the globe will have to adapt it. (2) Business propositions of developed nations who have the technology does not allow to implement what little tech we have. (3) Awareness of global warming danger not reaching all underdeveloped nations. (4) No single global agency to co-ordinate for each is suspicious of the other.

You are right, we DO have sources for clean energy, however, energy can't just be created. Hydrogen fuel cells need energy to spit water. Fusion plants need rediculously high temperatures, etc.
Also, even if we could just create energy, I bet it would nessessitate huge lifestyle changes, something the average Upper-middle class American doesn't accept lightly.
