Firecrackers and Fireworks are fun to make, if you donot follow directions and use safe materials you may loose your fingers and face. Gunpowder, flashpowder is all you need.Sorry I cannot help more, I would hate to see you get hurt, your library will help you more. NO, roll black powder inside a tight roll of paper with a fuse going from the top of the roll down into the powder.

roll up the black powder and one end of the fuse in a piece of paper like you were making a cigarette. Leave the fuse sticking out. Light it and throw/ run.

dude, do not listen to anything that any of these pppl say. they obviously have no experience in making explosives and following their example is going to cost you your left arm. just buy your own or go to TJ and get some illegal ones or something...
