my best friend and her hubby have split up and now a metrosexual friend of theirs has moved in (even before she moved out he was redecorating her bathroom) so my question is could he be metro or is he really gay?

i was just trying to get outside opinions because why should she try to work on their marriage if hes not even interested in HER anymore. i feel so bad for her.

if you ask me i think it's a possibility that he is indeed metro/homo sexual. The friend that moved in your friend's house that is. Now as far as the husband...i think he's just plain confused. Your friend is in denial. Tell her to move on.

Metrosexuality is the trait of an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. Therefore going by this definition you can be gay or straight as a metrosexual, I guess it goes to prove that not everyone conforms to social stereotypes and a matter of taste does not necessarily determne your sexuality.

The only way you will ever know if he is gay or not is to ask him. Some guys try to hide that they are gay and Hide behind a veil, and say they are metro, if he really is gay, eventually he might tell someone, till then, respect him, be his friend, don't ditch him because he wont tell you his sexuality, that's his business not really yours.

There IS a difference. Metro just means he takes care of himself and his looks. Gets manicures, gets his hair done, makes sure he dresses nice- stuff like that. Homosexual is they like the same sex. This person COULD be a homosexual. But then he could be just be metro.

theres always a possibility for him to be gay however the diffrence is simple he either likes guys or he likes women. the way he acts dresses or lives does not determind his sexual prefrence. In this day in age you cant classify every one into premaid molding blocks.
