If the world population was standing in Rhode Island everybody would have a 2 ft X 3 ft space. population=6630000000 Texas=268,581 square miles or 7,487,608,550,400 Square feet.
This equals 1129 square feet per person or a square 33.5 feet on a side.

I don't know about Texas, but I heard somewhere that everybody on Earth could fit into a city in Florida, standing in rows and columns, with one squre meter per person.
