I doubt that that sharks ate them, because the water is too cold to support life, no?

According to stories told by historians at least a few hundred were recovered in the days-weeks that followed. But a large amount of the 1500 were lost. Several ships (i think including the Carpathia) went back after the survivors were picked up and got what bodies they could

You know we seen live pictures of the wreck and I never heard or seen mention of any bones being seen or recovered. I thought sharks liked cold water. Even if it wasn't sharks, I'm sure after all those years there were many types of fish and sea creatures that did dispose of the bodies. It sounds terrible, but I know not many of the bodies were discovered. I've also heard that bodies in water for many years seems to just come apart. You would think you would find bones though. They found plates, bottles of wine, luggage, but never heard a thing about bones. Kinda strange.

Most likely the bodies decomposed after a period of time...it isn't likely that the bodies became shark food because the temperature of the water caused the blood in the bodies to freeze and the sharks would not be able to sense cold blood.

Several different boats were sent at several times to collect the remains that surfaced, and when there were no more the collection stopped. Those left in the ocean became part of the food chain , sadly.

If you mean the people in the movie...the director yelled cut,and the actors got out of the water.
In real life many of the bodies were recovered days and weeks later by ships in the area.

My god, who cares? Either decomposed if the fish are happened to be all well-fed at that time. or ate by the fish. The corpse cannot just run away on their own right?
You should ask:"What happened to Jack after Rose was rescued? Did she go and retrieve him afterwards?"

Some were picked up by rescue teams...
...others-the fish got their revenge from lost relatives that humans ate...
...and I heard some of the bodies were revived and became mermaids!!!!

Yeah I'm sure they tried to fetch as many as they could so they could give them a proper burial. Or they became shark food.

I'm pretty sure they were eaten by large sea animals... Those that were trapped in the vessel are probably still there... Floating carcasses...
