I think that the Brazilian team were missing their beautiful beaches and super hot women and decided to call it a day and leave early. They figured, "Hey, we've got 5 of these. More than anyone else. So let's go and go for our sixth one in another 4 years."

Brazilian women do that to you, you know.

Its amazing how the critiques of Brazil just seem to be coming from everywhere. The reason why Brazil lost was due to the fact that the coach wouldn't allow the reserves play. Robinho, Cicinho, Jun. Per., and co would have been more effective on field than the senior team. We saw that in Brazil's game against Japan. It wasn't Ronaldinho's cup, so what? We'll come back next time.

Ronaldinho just won the Champions League, Spanish league, and is on top of the world. He already won the World Cup, and wasn't interested in risking his millions of dollars for an ADDITIONAL cup that will not make a difference to him. The squad as a whole is to blame for what happened. No more one-man shows after Maradona left

As I've said many times to my friends, Ronaldinho and the rest of Brazil are overrated and overconfident and the results you saw from them were fully deserved. They are the Harlem Globetrotters of football, they have a ton of fancy tricks but horrible chemistry and little substance. That is exactly why, when they finally faced a strong, unified team in France, they were soundly beaten, and they would have been by any of the other hot teams of the tournament. Ronaldinho is a master trickster but he is all too good at disappearing in games, as was painfully obvious in the Champions League this season.

he didnt live up to potential, but thats not entirely his fault. The coach put him in as a forward, but hes a midfielder, so he didnt have the room he needed to do what he does best. That said he did under achieve, so hopefully we'll see more of him later.

You're right that he wasn't a big star in this one, but it's unfair to castigate a player on such a good team, he still did a good job overall.

Seriously... Did someone pay him off?! (j/k)

I don't know what was wrong with him, I mean, he played like so...normally, nothing spectacular at all! :( Maybe he was sick? Food poisoning or something?
