I'm on birth control, so you only have to get your period once every three months. I have lied about it though, when a bunch of my friends and I went to a water park, and I way to afriad of the slides, so I faked it...

Actually there is a shot you can get on that takes your period away, like forever. Im on it because my period last for 25 days out of the month, and oh boy does it suck! I didnt have to fake it to get out of school or work, lol it was impossible to go anywhere actually.

On the contrary, I view it as a gift and a responsibility.
In some cultures menstruation is considered magical and very powerful. It is an honor to be able to bring life into the world and young women are taught to cherish and respect that power. It is cyclic, like the sun and moon and seasons, placing woman in the heart of creation and creativity. We have lost the old ways of introducing young women, with Honor and rites of passage, to their greatest gift... Instead it has come to be viewed with disgust and irritation and the female power is lost by that attitude.
Heavier than you were looking for I'm sure, but worth some consideration.

You'll appreceiate you period if/when you start to become sexually active. In high school I used it to not participate in gym class all of the time! I had dance class instead of regular gym class so it was a little more strenuous on the body. I never used it to get out of work or to get something I wanted though. It's not cool to abuse it and you shouldn't use it to get stuff. That's just being manipulative.

Yes, normal periods are awful. But if you are someone like me, with extra pain, and every other symptom in the book, they are almost unbearable. I'm on day 32 of it and doing my best to maintain my sanity. (And yes, I'm presently under a doctor's care.)
No, I have never nor will I ever fake it. I hate lying.

I used to fake really bad cramps to get out of school! I was missing so much I was put on birth control in hopes that the cramp pain would decrease... haha all worked out for me!

Periods suck! But so does PMS sucks really bad to! Cause I always know when its almost that time of the month and I know cause now Im inPMS cause eairler today I juststarted balling anf freeking out really bad and now my eyes are all puffy and screwed up.. It just sucks. It always jacks w/my emotions!

Never Faked it I do believe almost 100% woman hate their periods ... they just make you feel so yuck lol

Yes they are awful and no fun at all. I never faked having mine, since my mom would have sent me to school anyways.
