It's good to follow your heart, but keep yourself happy as well. If he's good to you and the breakup was a misunderstanding, then no, he doesn't have to "work for it" to get you back, but you both need to work everyday to keep each other happy, secure, and in love. Good luck to you.

Everyone deserves a second chance if they are willing to do the right thing. Be cautious because you were hurt once before and don't let your emotions get in the way of you morals and values and positive thinking. Good luck hun XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It sounds like you are still young....you need to spend more time with you father. This guy may not want whats best for you and is instead just trying to get close. Spend some quality time with your father or another male role model and you may find you don't need this guys right now to fulfill your emotional vacuum. Best of luck!

Letting him back just means he will continue to do what he's done before. Hopefully not, but that's what usually happens. Once someone knows that someone else will let them do whatever they want, that's what they do. Good luck.

sometimes people don't know what they have until they lose it. I sure wish my x-gf would have taken me back. Just go with the flow and don't worry about what's happened in the past.

If you really care for him, & it sounds like he cares for you, then I would say, just go with things now as they are,and all should go fine!
