I am a high school student and I say hell yes. However, at least in my school, looking around I am severely worried about the state of the country. I would be willing to bet that at most 5% of the kids in my school would fight for this country and that worries me. I look at the youth in my school and am disgusted about their lack of patriotism and common knowledge.

Of course I would. To defend the freedoms we have in this great nation. Who wouldn't ? Where else can a person of poverty be publicly educated to raise themselves up to be successful? All it takes is effort, but we've become a nation of "put it in my hand".
Even by todays standards, most nations don't allow you to change your station in life. Whatever your father was, that's what you will be.
