You're supposed to wait 3 months after you stop taking the pill before trying to get pregnant.

Well, if you were on Alesse last I'd say your chances of getting pregnant are pretty good. I knew someone who was on Alesse for just over a year and took her pills every single day at the same time, but since it's such a low dosage-she got pregnant. Not once, not twice but 3 times before finally getting off of them and going onto more effective birth control. So if she could get pregnant 3 times while on it, I would say you should be able to get pregnant now off it.

HUGE possibility. My doctor had told me to go off the pill in preparation for getting pregnant so the medicine was out of my system. I did, and got pregnant the next month (the rubber broke).
All those eggs you have been stopping? Guess what they are up to now? You are major fertile. If you don't want a baby yet (and you should wait a few months), use lots of caution.

according to your doc, porbably 6 months. But in my family, all 3 of us girls were instant!!! stop the pill an pregnant the next month. Really depends on your reproduction genes i think!!! Some people take longer than 6 months. If you want to get pregnant right away...research it a bit and see what you can do. How long were you on the pill? That can play a roll too!!!

It depends on what kind of BC you were on. For example, the pill: you can get pregnant if you miss one. Depo-provera- it can take one month to several months before you can get pregnant. Typically if you have a period and you are not on BC then you can get pregnant. Keep in mind that everybody is different developmentally.

From what I've heard, as soon as you stop taking the pill, you're more firtile than ever. Go to WEBMD.com...it should tell you what you want to know.
