There is a difference between sexual attraction and falling in love. I think many people, if they would ignore the taboos that they've had drummed into them from birth, could enjoy sexual relations with either sex. The question to me comes down to-who do you fantasize about falling in love with? Not just having sex but buying a home, having children, taking care of in sickness and growing old together. Do you see a man or a woman in this scenario?I think this will help you decide where your heart truly lies.

Well, being a lesbian isn't a conscious decision. That is something you're born being, like being born black or white or brown or whatever. If you've had these curious feeling since you were little then you're probably a lesbian. If you are just considering "playing for the other team" because of a string of lame str8 relationships, then you're probably not a lesbian. The popular media has been good and bad to gays and lesbians. Sure there is this awareness but it's also made into this trendy thing. So some people consider "becoming" gay when in reality they are just reacting to bad str8 experiences. Besides, if you've had "awful relationships with men," what makes you think they'll be any better with women? Relationships involve two personalities, two individuals that either get along or don't.

I've actually asked myself the same question. It is totaly normal now a days to fantasize about women! I mean...come on...women are a lot better to look at then men! They're beautiful. I've been with women before! You can wait a long time for the "right guy"! Experiance life a little more and figure out what you like more. Try being with a women. It'll be weird the first time you date a women...but its just like having a best friend that you can laugh with and have a good time with. You just do sexual things together! Men are very complicated! Women get women better! I'm not saying to become a lesbian...just saying to maybe test out the water! and if you don't like it...then cool...go back to men! no biggy! Hope I helped

First off, your right, women are beautiful! But, really that is something you have to decide for yourself, because only you will know what you want! You can have a realtionship with a woman, and be a lesbian, or you can have a realtionship with a man and be straight, or both and be bi! There is nothing wrong with either! The right guy will come along, if that's what you want, OR the right woman will come along, if that's what you want, but only fate knows! But follow your heart, not your head!

I was sitting in a bar and a woman came in and sat down beside me and asked if I was a biker. She said she saw a motorcycle outside and asked if it was mine. I said the bike was mine and I guess you could call me a biker since I've been riding several years and I have stickers on my tank that read "18 miles and 18 grand don't make you a biker" and "It's a sick world and I'm a happy guy". Yeah, you could call me a biker.
Then I asked, "What about you." and she says, "Naah, I'm not a biker, I'm a lesbian." I ask, "How is that." and she says, "Well, I wake up in the morning and I think about making love to women, I see a woman on the street and I just have to stare, I think about woman at noon and night and I want to be with women all the time." All I could say was "Wow!"
She left and a guy came into the bar and asked if I was a biker.
I looked at him for a moment and said, "I though I was up till fifteen minutes ago but I guess that I'm really a lesbian."

You might be a lesbian, you might just not be good at relationships with guys. You're not alone.
Why not just give dating guys a rest for a while and enjoy yourself out there. If things develop with another woman then so be it.
You may discover that you are actually bi-sexual and enjoy the physical enjoyment of both sexes. In which case have fun ;o)

You can be whatever you feel you can be. If you are interested in seeking a relationship with a woman, then do it. If you would rather wait for the right man, then do that. Just be happy in whatever you do, never sell yourself short, and if the desire to experience a woman is THAT strong then maybe it is something you should explore before you even make a decision on who you want to settle down with.

Your asking us? we dont know the real you, only what you have said...I'm a gay male and i still think women are beautiful, if you "sometimes" fantasize about women thats normal. Think about it, who do you fantasize more about, men or women? Truthfully from what I heard, I think you're Straight. Hopefully the right man comes along soon.

You cannot chose to become a lesbian or bisexual, but you may be bi-curious. I could say more but I don't want to rant. Just think about where your true feelings are. Would you want a meaningful and sexual realtionship with another woman? With another man someday? Think it over.

You are most likely just frustrated in your relationships with males, causing you to feel you must resort to female relationships. Usually, people are aware of their sexual orientation and do not need to question it based on their experiences. I'm guessing that you're heterosexual, but by all means be lesbian if you want to! No one is stopping you! If you decide to stick with men, though, I hope Mr. Right turns up soon.
