That it WAS about oil. The dumbest thing I've heard from Bush supporters is that it's "obviously" not about oil because the price of gas has gone up and we're not getting any oil from Iraq. That's the POINT you maroons! If you steal oil from other countries, you can CONTROL the supply of oil that gets distributed. So if you hoard it and limit its distribution, the value of the oil goes UP because it's suddenly made artificially SCARCE by the ones controlling the oil! Just as when you invade and steal gold and diamonds from Africans, you can control the supply and therefore make the price of diamonds SKYROCKET! Supply and demand--you money-grubbling/worshipping conservatives should know all about that! Why do you think diamond and gold business owner/televangelist Pat Robertson called for the US to assasinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez? Because Chavez wants Venezuelans to control their OWN oil and sell it at their OWN prices to as many countries as will benefit Venezuelans!

It's "expensive" only if you're paying for it yourself! If you're using American TAX MONEY to invade Iraq and get the oil, it's a damn lucrative and CHEAP way to make big money! Have you lost all common sense???

It's PRIVATE enterprise that's making big money on Iraq at tax-payer expense. Expensive my ***!

Yes, for us "little people" it's expensive (because they're cutting education, stolen from Social Security, downsized FEMA, the EPA, etc.)--but it's a dream come true for Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Texaco, KBR, etc.!

Bush supporters have become robots, they repeat the propaganda they are told over and over again, until they convince themselves it's true.

It's not so hard to believe that oil men have a fondness for oil.

Fortunately there is worldwide resistance, and scrutiny of the USAs quest for domination.
The USA has lost it's credibility, and is losing it's stranglehold on the rest of the world.
Hugo Chavez is a clear example of what can be achieved when countries disregard their orders from Washington:-
Over 17 million people now have access to free health care and medicines for the first time.
Over 1 million people taught to read and write.
Participation encouraged for all Venezuelans in the formation, implementation, and operation of their democracy.
Venezuela has become truly, of the people, by the people and for the people, after years of US intervention and suppression.

There is at last hope for us all, a chance to end inequality, and injustice. :)

The more salient question is why Bush's opponents can't face the truth. Iraq had WMD and was developing more. Some of these have been found, although most of them (several thousand tons of munitions and materials) were shipped off to Syria in June 2002 when Bush started applying some serious heat. The war never had anything to do with oil; if we wanted to start a war over oil, it would have bee a lot simpler to invade Venezuela.

Why do human beings must be called, "stupid", "blind fools" and "dumb idiots"??? i assumed this replaced into united statesa. the place human beings have the terrific suited to freedom of selection?? ok, Bush screwed up on a brilliant number of key subjects. yet does that provide you the terrific suited to call human beings names basically via fact they voted different??? i assume that makes you experience such as you have accomplished something via putting human beings down basically via fact they suspect different than you??? Your question demonstrates YOUR lack of know-how!!! I wager you do no longer even vote?? so some distance as Katrina replaced into in contact, there have been MANY blunders and many issues that should/ought to have been completed different. this is seems humorous to me how the people who made the main noise, have been those that did the least!!! (MIA) that's no longer 2nd hand information!!! i replaced into there working with the sufferers from taking off to end!!! the place have been YOU??? i could propose you end making your self look like an a.. and the occasion you think of you characterize!!! you're embarrassing!!! strengthen up and end appearing like a sprint baby!!! (And confident I DO vote and NO, i'm no longer a Bush supporter)!!!

I'm a big Bush suorter... and I think it was a vendetta ...finish something his father couldn't...But I still think he's doing the best he can with people like you who complain and whine about oil this and oil that... put more effort into supporting the service men who are there and don't want to be. You are probably young...too young to remember another war that was started (by the democrats) just to make money... we didn't win that one either. I'd vote for him again just so people like you could find something to crab about.

I think you are paranoid. I know people who have been to Iraq and they haven't seen any oil stealing. If we didn't step in in the early 90s to stop Saddam then, he would have owned about 45% of the world's oil .

PS: what is a maroon?

Freeeing 26 million people from a tyrant is better than letting HIm stay in office. We never did get much oil from Iraq because Saddam was using it to block the UN from taking him out. The french and Chinese and Russians stuffed their pockets and He also paid loads of money to brainwash people like You against your own government.

In one word, the answer is MONEY: billions are being made this war--just as corporate America did in Vietnam.

Remember the last President who tried to end a war when profiteering was in it's prime? Look what THEY did to him; I don't think Bush wants to follow down the same path.

Besides, he's getting his juicy share of the $$$$ pie for being a "good ol' boy"; a team player.

Don't waste your time trying to convince them to believe the truth. There will always be some people out there who will support him no matter what he does. Majority of people already accept the truth, we all know that it is about the oil. As long as we have the majority to stand with us, it doesn't matter what those narrow minded people think, we have more votes.

Dude your as dumb as you look. If we went to war for oil then why am I paying .40 more per gallon?? Huh? Huh? If we went to war for Oil I should be paying around $1.25 per gal. and not $2.80 since Iraq is loaded with Oil right. And with Chavez you'd better go learn more about him

The oil argument is ridiculous.

Anyone and everyone knew that invasion is the most difficult and expensive way to get oil. You can just buy it a lot cheaper.
