Yes of course germany played better in the second half but argentina played better in the first and the extra time was close....so it was equal and it is who had more motivation and who wasnt aroogant that deserved the loss. The argentina players are so arrogant and think that theyre the best and plus- they have bad sportsmanship and the deserve to get blamed and fined for bad behaviour. i am very dissapointed with argentina's players and i am very pleased with how germany coped with it. Overall, germany played a better match, with much more sportsmanship and enthusiasm and talent.

p.s. i just want to say that argentina's players have bad sportsmanship- but not all of the players though- only some

Yes they did. Argentina was destined to exit early from the beginning. Playing defense the last 20 minutes of the Ivory Coast match said alot about the South Americans. If you are here to win the World Cup, you cannot be defensive against an African team that is there for the first time. Argentina has a good squad individually, but not collectively. Messi would not have changed one thing about the outcome. The team committed suicide a long time ago.

I think both teams played really well, but Germany have better luck with penalties and it didn't help that Argentina's goalkeeper was injuired... I think Germany deserved to win only because of the coach's stupid mistakes

No, but they didnt deserve to win either. I think FIFA needs to eliminate penalty kicks as a solution to tied matches. I think they should just play an extratime, and if its still tied, play golden goal until someone scores. However, until they do that, you just have to hope the better team wins the shootout.

yes..they deserve it..they were only lucky to score from the corner while the germans scored from excellent teamplay..germany controlled the ball when they were 1-0 down..german pass the ball around better..they were the better team..argentina's attack was slow and no good..they could have lost before the final whistle..

No, they didn't. Pekerman didn't make the best decisions, but the fact that they went all the way to shootout means that Germany wasn't that much better.

No, not at all.
Argentina should've won that game.
It was just Germany's luck.
