of course or there will not be any people staying at coastal houses and fishing villages.
Just be wary of too much sun and be careful of hygenie & cleaniness.

First make sure you have a good sun screening clothes for babies on him no matter when you are out in the sun. I would advise getting baby sun glasses and a sun hat. I would also have something that keeps him up off the sand. Even the car seat, under it you could put a yoga mat, it's thick to cushion and sand won't come through it and it can be washed off, plus while outdoors keep him under your UV tent. Make sure to have bottles of water for him. I had for my children and they carry them now a days themselves these misters in which you pump and a light mist comes out. It cools the body temperature by 30 degrees. Hand held ones are sold at the Discovery store and Wal Mart carries largers ones. Put filtered water in it so that you can mist his feet and hands, behind is neck and back keeping him cool under the tent. Don't spend all day on the beach. Having a baby doesn't mean you must stay at home. Make sure you are with him, watch so that nothing is around that could harm him, the sand won't be a problem if you have him in a seat, plus sun glasses. I live in California and many young babies are with their mothers I find that they are there only for a couple of hours. So pace yourself and him. I think the ocean air, the sound of the serf will be relaxing for both of you.

I live at the beach and YES you should go. It sounds like you have all the equipment to keep your 12 week old protected. I had cold (not ice cold) water that I would use to wet a wash cloth and wipe her to keep her cool. You can't do much about the sand just give your baby a bath when you go back to the condo. No sunblock until he's 6 months, just keep him under the tent and umbrellas. Most important of all...HAVE FUN!

In 1993, I took my daughter to Myrtle Beach when she was 14 weeks old. I kept her shaded and checked her a lot to make sure she was not too hot. I may have spritzed her with water some, too. I didn't keep her out for long periods of time, though. Knowing my husband and I, we probably dipped her feet in the water, too.
I was really into normalizing a baby's environment and not isolating her, so she went everywhere with us. She was never sick, and in fact, was almost a year old before she got her first cold.
I didn't worry too muvh about sunburn because we are African American, but I may have put a little baby sunscreen on her anyway.
My sister used to keep her son at the pool when he was an infant while she did water walking. She did the same thing - shade, check him a lot and gave him the occasional water spritz.
My sister, husband and I were all major swimmers at the time our kids were infants, so I'm sure the thought of keeping them away from water never crossed our minds.

I don't see the problem with that, but I would call the pediatrician though and ask what kind of sunblock would be best to use on your son so that way he doesn't get sunburn. Even though you have the tent and the umbrellas, there still could be a risk of sunburn due to reflection off from the sand and water.

Umm you should have the baby with family when you go on a trip if the baby is that young. Exposing the baby is very dangerous because their immune system is not all that strong to fight off any type of bite or infections. Or consult with your doctor if its right to bring a 12 wk old baby out to the beach. Ask before you regret of making a mistake. Better be safe then sorry.

yes, lots of sunscreen a shady area and bring a play pen with one of those bug zipper net thingy's that go over the top of it dont leave the baby in the sun for longer than 15 minutes at a time and make sure you are in a nice shady area i started taking my daughter to the beach when she was 13 weeks old if you follow all of these guidelines you will be fine. oh and do not put too much sunscreen on the babies face mainly just the top of the head arms legs ect. and test out the sunscreen you buy by dabbing a tiny drop on the babies arm to make sure he/she doesnt have an allergic rection to it i would go with water babies its the safest and has the highest spf available for kids

this in many circumstances takes position, the degree the position you flow aside. yet possibly there's a reason behind this, i'm no longer precisely why. i'm certain that she nonetheless thinks of u as a extreme priced buddy. yet issues replace and per chance she has replaced somewhat getting a bf. Or she sounds like she desires to, there are extra significant issues to her. She would sense like ur no longer on undemanding floor like she's someway better and u do not realize. provide her your time, she'll come via and understand her

Just be sure to keep him almost completely out of the sun, and even in the shade the heat can have a big affect on him so be sure to keep a very close eye on his skin tone, and make sure he has plenty of fluids

It's fine, as long as you keep him well hydrated and keep him out of the sun, unless you're swimming or something. And sunscreen wouldnt hurt, just in case.
Just don't overdo it and be outside all day. Heat can affect a baby terribly.
