You have to play by his rules, and be totally content with that. You can't put any demands or expectations on him whatsoever....
Honestly, you can only be the "other woman" if you can distance yourself from him emotionally.

Depends on what type of other woman you are. I was the other woman for a year. I never felt like the other woman. He saw me at least 5 times a week, we talked by phone, text, email everyday, went on trips together. He had to relocate for work and moved his wife and kids off 5 months early so we could live together. After he relocated his wife found evidence of the affair and they are currently in counseling. He still talks to me though, which the wife is not aware of. Think they are doing counseling to say they "tried everything" but for a guy to be that detached from his marriage, it was over long before I came into the picture. (And he initiated the affair, not me.)

It sucks. I was the other woman for 2 and a half yrs. I would never do it again. I regret that I hurt the wife really bad, it wasn't fair to her. Don't ever do it, It's not fair to anyone involved. Why should the guy get his cake and eat it too. He's getting what he wants and then there are two people getting hurt in the process. glad I am out of that ordeal. I kick myself everyday for that now.

It gets very complicated if there are feeling involved. But you always feel guilty, especially if the other woman is a friend.

I don't know...haven't been the other woman. However, my husband had one. I wasn't angry with her so much, she wasn't married to me, he was. I lead her to the Lord. She was killed in a car accident about 5 years later. I was saddened to hear it, but glad she had given her heart to Jesus.

You are the backseat person, which means that as long as he is with the other woman you will NEVER be priority. You deserve better.
