The same reason why so many young heterosexuals are sexually active and not into romances; just sex: because they're horny and need to get off just like everyone else.

It seems like all young people are sexually active (not just lesbians and gays) and not into romance. The key word is "young" and they have yet to learn there is a great deal more to a relationship than just sex. Sex is fun and the thrill of discovery in one's sexuality when young is just the beginning. They'll learn about romance and relationships soon enough.

it depends on who you are talking to. if you hang out with gays who just sleep around that it what you will see. But I am a relationship kind of girl and I am 25. Considerably young. I also know a lot of gays and lesbians who are in long-term relationships. I really don't think it is much different than the straight world. Young people tend to get crazy and wild...and some of us find love along the way.

Humans, in general, aren't ready for long term committed relationships until a level of maturity they reach later in life.

I don't really see gay/lesbian desires for sexual activity as any different than those of straight people.

Every time I see an unwed mother I wonder why straight people can't control their impulses enough to at least prevent child birth.

The evidence that straight people aren't ready for long term committed relationships when they feel pressure to engage in them is evident by the VERY high divorce rate.

Try not to stereotype, hun. It's not realistic. People are people... no matter who they sleep with.

The same reason heterosexuals are sexually active and not into romance or getting into a relationship. Just a bunch of young, horny, bucks trying to get their jollies.

i'm not a lesbian even nonetheless this is clean you in user-friendly terms placed down an opinion, not a fact. My chum is a youthful bisexual and she or he in user-friendly terms seems for significant realtionships, not in user-friendly terms intercourse. you ought to circulate out into the international and meet greater human beings, then your view does not be like that anymore. that's only one area of the cookie.

I agree about the hormone thing. Plus, I think for a lot of them its that they are only recently free to express themselves, so they tend to go overboard.

Having said that, I know plenty of overly active older homosexuals as well.......

Actually, thats a stereotype. I'm gay and I actually do not like having sex as much as I like just having fun.

they are curious as to what its like. they haven't gotten involved far enough yet to understand the differences. Its like straights, they rush in too not thinking of feelings. They all just wanna get it on.

because we're young. it's not because we're gay. young straights are like that too. we want to get our kicks before we settle down.
