One's a fish, the other's a marsupial. At least 500 million years of evolution separate their last common ancestor. Plus one has gills, the other has lungs....
Australian marsupials have only 8 chromosomes.
You'd have an easier time cross-breeding humans and kangaroos; we are closer together than kangaroos and fish. Horses and donkeys are closer still, which is why they can breed to make mules. But mules are usually sterile, which shows that horses and donkeys can't mix their genes with each other any more; their offspring are dead ends.

Yes, but first you have to get them really drunk. And then let nature take it's course. But they aren't going to like it when they wake up next to each other in the morning. Well, it worked with a pot bellied pig and an elephant anyways. It sure did make Cartman happy when it did.
