Its not often but sometimes what could be the problem?

If it isn't accumulating junk, don't worry about it.  The pump can't empty the plumbing completely and there will always be some water in there.

If you have hard water and the pump and pipes might be clogged with lime, run it a few times with a couple cups of vinegar instead of detergent.  Vinegar dissolves lime deposits.

It could be that the cycle timer is moving too quickly and not giving the motor enough time to finish pumping out the rest of the water.

may have a clog in the dishwasher drain line or even the sink trap or even the disposer. check'em all out..good luck

The pump could be going out...

Also be sure to run the disposal really well before starting the dishwasher.

nothing could be wrong its just water from the cups or the plates but nothing to worry about

well if it a lot the it could be pluged but if its just a little then it from the cups and dishes and stuff
