It is why you can use a wireless headset with some cell phones, those with blue tooth

blue tooth is something from verizon that is like an ear peice that clips on your ear and you activate it on your phone its-self and when you receive a call it rings a tone to your earpeice remotly , so it doesnt matter if your phone is in the car and your in the house it still rings to you remotly
