Quantitatively the human race has found uses for science. Science refers to the organized body of knowledge concerning the physical world, both animate and inanimate. Also, a proper definition would also have to include the attitudes and methods through which this body of knowledge is formed. This knowledge is useful, but destructive. There are helpful inventions and yet helpful it will cause destruction. Take the car. It is destroying the environment. Well, Dont know answer to the question.

Scientific knowledge presents tangible evidence of those things that are presupposed. Science allows one to study variables in any situation and arrive to a point of understanding the proves our belief system. Without scientific knowledge one just has ideas about situations, not facts.

It depends on what type of scientific knowledge you are talking about, who has it, and how they use it. Knowledge of TNT was a powerful tool for humanity, but the man who invented it was so upset about the misuse of it, he created the Nobel prize contests to try to compensate for what he percieved as the evil he had done.

Useful. Without out it how many of us would be dead from disease or crippled from polio. How many children would have deformed limbs because no surgery was available for severe fractures. How many people would be dead from things now easily cured such as influenza, pnuemonia, apendicitis?

Useful definatly.
Cars, cell phones, computers, music, lights, planes, everything!
Sure all can be used for evil, but more people are using technology for good.

it all depends on how you look at it, yes science helps us greatly, but as they say was it journey or destination. and if we keep making things easier for us, eventually there will not be anybody to make things easy because we all forgot how to do the basics.
