I know that guys think about sex alot, but is it really true that they think about it like every minute? or does it vary from guy to guy?

That statistic is true, but in a roundabout way. When they say thinking about sex, they don't just mean imagining having sex with someone (though that does happen quite often), they also mean wondering whether our current action will improve or diminish our chances of having sex, so whether our clothes are good, if we're behaving the right way so as to be found attractive, if our bodies are sexy or not. Ever catch a guy flexing and checking out his guns when he thinks no one's looking? Ultimately he's thinking about sex when he does that.
Also, pretty much any time we're talking to a woman we think is even mildly attractive, we're thinking about sex. Even we don't always make the connection though. If we're thinking "Does she think I'm smart/funny/nice?" It's really "Does she think I'm smart/funny/nice enough to sleep with?" but we might not even realize it.

Its impossible to accurately record how often a man thinks about sex. I think there was a study that claimed it was every 3 seconds, but that is impossible. It of course varies from person to person, for example I would imagen a person who works in a teen pregnancy center "thinks about sex" alot more than the next.
Also what counts as "thinking" about sex, like going through a scenario in your head, or just a super quick thought or image that pops in one's head. Its alot harder to give an accurate number than it would seem.
But for the sake of conversation, I would guess its anywhere from 5 to 15 instances worth accounting for a day....or somthing
But that doesnt mean men sit down and "ponder" about sex for 5 minutes each time.

Read a study once, long time ago and can't remember exactly where....anyway it their study it showed that men have sexual related thoughts about every 6 minutes. Women on the other hand had sexual related thoughts about every 45 minutes. So to answer your question, guys think about sex A LOT!!

I probably think about sex 10 times an hour. well I used to, I am a little older now and probably no more than 5 times an hour now

it varies but on average id say 10 to 15 times a day.

My husband said no he doesn't think about it every minute, it's more like all the in between time throughout the day.

I am not a guy but it's not just the guys that think about it and there's some guys that don't think about it all the time.

it varies from guy to guy. nerds think of it less often, maniacs wouldnt pass a day without it.
