Travling down a country road and all of a sudden I see a break in the trees and just knew I had been there before, I was 8 yrs old at the time. Is this some place that I might have been in a previous life?

probably..i think when that stuff happens we are experiencing same emotions as we did in our past lives, which are repressed and hidden deep within our minds. I'm pretty sure we all had past lives.

Interesting enough, we all seem to have similar experiences. We can not clearly agree or deny there is past lives for all of us.

But, the most recent scientific research findings explain the de ja vou pretty convincing.

Forgive me, I forgot their names of the persons and the names of the institute, but two professors from USA (or Canada) assert that the de ja vou is coming from our brain's limited ability of storing the memories as a clear picture.

Simply saying, our memories become blur over long period of time, only remaining the fragments of events and descriptions, or remaining a too general (situations that can fit almost any other instances) memories.

So say when you just met a totally new person from local bar. You have never met him before. But you have a strong belief that you met him somewhere in you current or past life. It is because he has a mustache, and is skinny, tall and wears glasses. In this case, your brain only remembers the fragmentary information of the other person's description, and making your believe that you are dealing with the same person.

It is a very interesting question, I am 23years old, fact is 2weeks before my fathers death, i was able to see death standing over my bed i got so scared didnt sleep for 3 nights straight my mother use to pray sitting next to me. DEJA VU 3days later while going to office my father had a severe heart attack and h died on the spot.

This is the latest of something like this happening to me or to my father, we had vision unexplainable what science calls DEJA VU, actually it is a gift also known as ESP (Extra Sensory Perception), for e.g. when we were small phone rang and we knew who was on the othe line ( without caller IDs) why and how can you explain this phenomena?

You have to develop these gifts by meditation and you'll see day after day you'll see things that you think you have seen before and best part is in case of any difficult situation you'll know what to do before hand.

Things like previous life is true but, you have to understand what you see in pictures is not always real, try to think a more rational solution to the problem that how could I have ever seen that tree, try to think again and again was it this tree or similar to something else, one more thing if this is really an ESP you have got, then see why had you seen it, that will clear all the doubts that you might be having

I believe that da ja vou is you remembering your past life or a dream. I dream about places I've never seen before, and then see the same place in real life is amazing, it's such a welcoming feeling

Some say that de ja vou is just our mind making a millisecond prediction of what will happen next. But personally, I believe that we have always existed, and we always will. In fact, one law of physics says that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only change form. Hmmmm. Apply that to us and we have some interesting possibilities. By the way, I'm christian so you probably think this is a weird answer from me. But I'm not your typical christian.

Da ja vou is the feeling that you have seen or done something before. It does not necessarily mean that you have been there in a past life. Of course I don't believe in past lives.

In Islam, it is said that God shows you your whole life when you're in your mother's womb. It's kind of like how people say that before you die your whole life flashes before your eyes...
