because of the memory of the moment, as long as you remember it hurts. So you eventualy get used to it, but it doesn't really heal, you get used to it.

Of course a broken heart heals otherwise there would be a world full of sad people. It takes as long as you allow it to take. After awhile you have to get a grip because your life is passing you by. There may always be a little place in your heart that still hurts but eventually a new love will fill the rest.

everything back into place
but its whole again .i think thats how the heart works .i was very heart broken for a long time my heart healed but its not the same way it use to be

It takes a broken heart a long time to heal, because it is at the core of your inner being, the heart its self does not really break, but somewhere in the vicinity of your solar plexus is where the pain begins, sort of like a gut punch, live each day, relax and pamper yourself a bit, it takes time to heal. Healing is over when you find that you are ready to love again . Watch your favorite movies that make you laugh , drink your favorite beverage, eat your favorite comfort foods, take a hot shower or bath as the case may be and get plenty of sleep. Tomorrow begin the day with a purpose, and that purpose is to make yourself as happy as possible.I hope the link below helps

I read somewhere that a broken heart takes twice the length of the relationship to fully heal. Ouch. But I think it only stays broken untill you realize that you can love again. When you realize that, it begins to heal and you can feel good about moving on.

A broken heart is just that.... broken. You will eventually feel better, but you cant replace what is lost. That is why you hurt.... because people leave their mark on you in different ways. Eventually you will look back on it with bittersweet memories. The pain can be very raw at first but the old saying is true..... time heals all wounds. I wish you the best....

It depends how long u want to be broken heart about it, but life goes on, everything happens for a reason, perhaps there is someone better out there, however if u really want to end this broken heart feeling, u have to forgive ur ex and forgive urself so the feeling of contempt wont stay long in u & move on..

Things happen for a reason...if you broke up it was for a reason..you were not meant for that person...it still sucks..but you'll get over it...for me it wasnt ever that I was heart broken as much as I was ticked off in the time wasted..i was in a relationship for 6 terrible years and finally got out of it ..6 years for nothing..i found someone that I truly believe is the person for me..i dont know how to explain it..being 29 years old and sometimes I'm at a lose for words on how i look and feel about this person....

Because when you love someone you tend to give them your whole heart and when they give it back in peices it may take a while to put it back together. For some people a broken hearts never heal and that is a sad thing. But if your lucky once your heart is whole again you can give it away and someone jsut may keep it and take care of it.

because you really care about the person that broke your heart, and hearts do heal it just takes time and depending on how much of a connection there was with u and your partner, it my take a very long time, it's been a year and i'm still in the recovery stage-best of luck

Like all the difficult things that happen to a person in life the worst of the feeling will pass and life will go on. Sometimes they even turn out for the best. Only time will tell but you need to move on and not become bitter.
