As an avid Edgehead I couldn't be happier to see Edge with the championship belt AGAIN!
But apparently you are right, sadly there's a great chance that if RVD wouldn't get caught with drugs, it wouldn't have happened.
And what's even more sad, is that according to the WWE's Summer Slam ads - which state that Cena is the WWE champ, Edge will probably drop the title at SNME... *sigh* I do hope I'm wrong, but that's how it looks right now...

yes I'm glad Edge is the CHAMP Cena sucks and was the champ for too long Edge has been wrestling for over like 10 years and hasn't got a long title reign he deserves it not Cena just because he's Vince butt kisser who has no talent in the ring where as Edge does

Rated R champ, such a joke. All he is good at is cheatin to win. Take lita away and see how long he is champ even with her around he only held it for 5 days. Rated R wannabe, besides he uses to much crack.

I am so totally pissed about that! RVD should of stayed champion or even Cena! I'm not a huge Edge fan so I am so not glad about that.

I'm not happy about it, but I agree with you. If RVD had stayed clean and not gotten in trouble, he might've held the belt a bit longer. It's his own fault, so I don't feel bad for him at all. He's an idiot.

I'm glad. It's been awhile since the WWE had a true villain as the champ.
People cheered and booed Cena, and HHH. Not really a villain or a hero there.

BOO YAH!!!! I'm so happy that Edge got the title back. His first reign was so crappy that he deserves a better run. And god forbid if Cena won the title. I would have to start reading about it instead of watching wrestling. I hope that Edge goes on to Summerslam to defend the title. VIVA LA EDGE!
