Mercury 825G chipset motherboard with INTEL 1.66Ghz processer.
Recently I changed BIOS chip due to failer of the existing in that motherboard.

You will have to repair the Windows installation first, during this process you will enter your key and then you may be directed to phone to get a new installation code.

Changing the BIOS chip may have screwed up the ID code used by Windows to tell you have a valid copy. You may need to call Microsoft and get a new code.

You may need to go to the WINDOWS website and install your operating system again. Let it overwrite what is already there. You may have a corrupted file that prevents the install of the service pack.

the bios chip id is part of the wpa file, you probably have to contact microsoft and explain it to get a new system ID

I doubt it has anything to do with your BIOS.
Unable to install which service pack for what OS ?
Chances are your CD-key is simply not legitimate.
If you have a legitimate key, call Microsoft.
