He wrote some songs on Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning. I know he appears on some early bootleg recordings, like the first Garage Days album. It's not that difficult to find.

Yes Dave was in their band on the first album Kill Em' All. He also wrote a few songs on the album "Ride The Lightning"

It's Dave Mustaine and yes on kill em' all and some of Ride the Lightning. I know for a fact.
