Well, I'll share this with you (because I'm too lazy and don't want to spend the time)....
my wife has a friend through work (she doesn't work with her, but knows her thru work)...
anyway, this woman and her husband started selling sterling silver jewlelry on Ebay about 3 years ago. It wa sslow at first, but after about 6 months, things started picking up...
After the first 2 years, she quit her $40,000 a year job and after the third year, he quit his $60,000 job. They have invested their everything into this business and they seem to be very happy with the results...
Give it a looksie and see if that might be something of interest... I suspect the big thing is finding the jewelry at a low price... wouldn't you agree?
Good luck!

I had the same experience too. The worst thing is fake email always came to my mailbox. I have stop to sell thing in ebay.
my suggestion is Go for the part time internet business which require less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business which does not require big money to start it.

I dont know what you are selling but ebay can be profitable. maybe you should just pull more people into your ebay store by advertising. or you may just want to get out of ebay stores altogether and just have a stand alone website. Now with paypal or google checkout or yahoo ecommerce hosting its easy to just have a standalone website and sell your products. I have experience with all 3 so email me if you want me to share them with you.

also some inexpensive or free advertising would help, here is a link to the 10 best completely free online advertising sources.

Try hooking up with a local storage facility, apartments and home rental persons.and see if you can provide an eviction removal service. Services are stated that upon the leaser's abandonment or forfeiture of items left within an leased space with out payment shall be removed and disposed of by your said company. (You will clean out the places of all trash and valuables..... You will need to arrange a price to be paid, to pay, or commission. I have seen all three ways to have worked. Make sure you draw up an legal paper for each and every Co. you would do business for. And wording to say you are to be held harmless for and damages leaved ofter your services are rendered. Good luck..

try this it might help find items that are spelled wrong like take jewlry for example if there is an expensive ring that is spelled wrong like stirling silver instead of sterling silver it will show on a different page and if people looking for that ring type it in and spell it right that item will not show up . and the wrongly spelled items price will be real low somtimes because people dont find that one spelled wrong I have seen expensive things for cheap prices and the action ends in like an hour and the price is only up to $20 for a $200 item I know it sounds stupid but try it just type in slight variations of things your looking for it dont always work and ya gotta try a lot of different spelling variations just see what happens buy it real cheap and mark up the price let me know if this helps
