Do you do what Oprah tells you?

last week I was channel flipping and Oprah told me to buy Compact Florescent lights for my home, so I went to Lowes and bought some, now I have compact florescent lighting...what happened? Did she put a trance on me? I never watch Oprah! Do you do everything Oprah tells you to?

I did more so before she tore into James Frey like a ugly step child she hates.
I still admire her, but it opened my eyes to the fact that she is not perfect nor is she some sort of Queen meant to be on a pedestal.
And in some ways I have come to think she is in her own way a racist. Sad but true.
Anyhow, her philanthropic ways are one thing no one can take away from her.

I don't DO everything she tells me to. I Do admire her, for her generosity, and for the diverse guests she has on her show. I get a little tired of the celebrity shows, but at least she mixes it up a bit. My hat is off to her for helping get child molesters off the streets.....putting her money where her mouth is. She is a shining example of how far a woman in America can go.

Like you, I don't normally watch her, but when I do - I 'listen' - smart lady. The one program I watch is her 'pre-Xmas' show where she shows all the things she is giving her friends or the best items out on the market to buy.
