Good question!

That's why I am happy to live in Canada, where we don't have people like him running our country!

It's all in the eye of the beholder. What lies? All the Dems had the same info - were they lying too, or are you privy to some super duper top secret info that Bush had? Bad choices? What ones? He was in office when our country was ruthlessly attacked. Our intelligence gathering had been seriously diluted by his predecessor, the same "hero" that watered down our military. We haven't been attacked since, but when it does happen again all of the bleedin' hearts will be screaming for his head, conveniently forgetting about them trying to derail him at every turn (can you say NY Slimes?). The bad choices I see are when the liberal rags tell the world (al qaida & co) what we are doing to fight these bastards so we don't get hit again. Or do you defend THAT? I just want to see how blind you really are - look at this as a vision test - so far Stevie Wonder has got you beat!

The lies that you & the media see are not neccessarily what I see. I do not think his choices have been bad, so I do not often defend him because I do not believe he needs to be defended. He has sent troops to Iraq & helped them have the 1st Democratic election, trained the military & police of Iraq so they can defend that new Democratic goverment. Soon I troops will come home with a job well done. Since his election my income has increased 35%. I am very pleased with his presidency.

Try the spell check - it is not the best I have used, but it does work.

Ghetto Princess - Did you know your country is going bankrupt - be nice & we will see if Bush will help after his term is up.

It's easy....in this case they defend the party and not the good of the country. It's amazing how blind people can be.
I see no problem in admiring great presidents such as Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson. But people admire this man as though he's the second coming.
What bothers me is he's being rubber stamped by the congress and the senate to the likes of Hussein, Stalin, and Hitler.
This man is ignorant, and people of this country cannot afford to repeat this thing again.
I would go as far as saying he's also mentally unstable.
A lot of occupations such as airline pilots have mental stability tests conducted.
Wouldn't you think someone like the president should be subjected to the same?
Basically he's a spoiled mommas boy, who looks like he would hurt people if he didn't get his way. Also he's a failed business man who screwed others along the way.
For all those who voted for him and are in support of this war, tell me that if a democratic president would have invaded Iraq you would have supported him?
As a country we have to look within and ask ourselves what happened.

President Bush has had the toughest job of any American President in modern times. We have never been attacked on American soil before 9/11. He's not the smartest President we have ever had but he is probabaly the toughest. He's Texan. You must not have seen that bumper sticker that reads, "Don't mess with Texas"...Apparently, they're not kidding. As a proud American, I will always stand behind the OFFICE of the President of the United States of AMerica...the greatest country in the world.

By the way, Ghetto Princess, USA has always been there to bail Canada out of its problems...but Canada deserted America the one time in history Canada could have been useful for something. Don't worry, we will be there to help Canada, France, and any other country that needs saving...that's what Big Brother does.

Are Independents allowed to Answer this?

1. I dont care at all for him when it comes to Domestic Issues....

2. You really need to state what lies you are speaking of........

3.When it comes to the War on Terrorism,I Applaud him.
Fact:Terrorists have been Killing Americans for over 30 years.
Actually they have been killing people from all over the
world for that long if you want to get Technical.

Fact:There have not been any successful Terrorist Attacks
here at home since 9/11

Fact:Since going into Iraq Terrorist Attacks in European
Nations have decreased Dramatically
Better to Deal with them in Iraq than anywhere else....
That may be a Cold statement but its True......

I can Defend his Foriegn Policies all day........

What I cannot do is Defend him when it comes to Domestic Issues..........

Domestically, I think he stinks........

But this is just one Independents Opinion.................

I don't defend him. He has his reasons for doing what he believes is best just like any other president that has been or will be in office. If you or I had all the info and resources he has, we might make the same choice in his shoes. It depends on the situation and what information is available. It can't all be released to the general public so I can't guess why he's made some of the decisions he has.

I respect the office no matter who's in it and don't make excuses for anyone. All presidents have their foibles.

He was still better than all of the other choices and better than any of the new choices for the next election so far.

And really he has brought alot of good things, for the economy
The war was forced upon him, and approved of course by both parties ( although they don't want to admit it now)

The big issue now is he is far to liberal on immigration, and has been spending too much on social programs

The "lies" are what the US and many other countries intelligence agencies were led to believe. For all we know the majority of WMD's were probably moved to another country just before we got there.

I'm glad the rape rooms and mass graves are stopped and the Iraqis voted in huge numbers to decide how they want Iraq to be in the future.

Bush does not govern by opinion or popularity pools. He does what he feels is right for the country.

You think the political devisivness is bad now.
Take a look back in history to Abe Lincoln. If Abe had governed by opinion pools then the US would have ceased to exist.
