Im going from manual 2.8 to electric pump to put in a 3.4, now I dont need the return line. Need to know how to cap it off at tank?

You should verify that you really do not need the return line. Usually the presence of a return line means the excess fuel is returned to the tank and, if this system also needs to have the same feature you are creating another problem in solving this one.

It also is helpful if you give more info on the vehicle you are working with, i.e. Ford, Honda, Chevy etc as we who reply can not see nor know those things unless you share that with us.

FOR ONE ELTRIC IS ELECTRIC.THEY ARE NOT MANUAL IN ANY WAY.MANUAL I DRINVEN FOR BOTTOM OF DISTRUTOR-ELECTRIC PUMP IS IN TANK-ONLY DIFFERENCE WOULD BE PSI BECAUSE EFI OR CARBURATION HAS DIFFERT PSI FOR TRHE SET UP.BUT IF YOU LET IT GO AND ADDED ONE OF YOUR OWN LATER IN LINE.YOUR FAULT.GET A PRESSURE TESTER-ATTACCH TO LINE AND READ.IT WILL TELL YOU
