~Got laid on the west bank under a full moon in the snow. Wow, I love Oregon. Wish I knew who I went with. Good wine. Real good.

no longer certain if you're only vacationing for an afternoon or staying. If i became camping i'd opt for Walowa Lake. At Crater Lake, you should camp faraway from the lake.Walowa lake is way less crowded and intensely alluring too. That being stated, in case you ultimately end up going to Crater Lake, attempt to locate time for the boat vacation around the lake. this is extremely a good vacation. You get to work out distinct issues from a diverse attitude than you get from the rim.

We stayed a week there in one of the rental cabins. The best time we had was fishing on the lake for trout.
We rode the tramway to the top and hiked around.
It rained some.

Yep! I went horse-riding on the trail up the mountain, walked around & fed chipmunks on the top of Mt. Howard, got my highest bowling score ever in town: 176.
